“Reclaiming your Sacred Self” is a six-month transformation program that I designed as a Body-led approach to Self-inquiry. This program is the outcome of my decades of work in mentoring people all over the world.
In my work with people, I found that accompanied invocation of the archetypal Deities transforms Consciousness. This manifests in their lives as an unprecedented experience of the sentience of Nature. In this experience, we are “seen” by Nature. It also renders Body sentient and the intelligences of the Body including sensation become our teachers. We do not control and dominate Reality, rather we are held, guided, celebrated, and invited to express.
The program is rooted in the ancient contemplative traditions of India dating back to the pre-Vedic and Vedic times. However, it radically reinterprets these philosophies through Body-led and archetypal lenses inspired by Natya Shastra, or the practice and philosophy of ritual dance.
It is a practice that emerges from my own experience navigating philosophies and traditions that largely silence Feminine Wisdom, the Body, and creativity as “knowledge”. I contended with real-life experiences where I was shamed, made to feel unsafe, and ostracised for standing up for my authenticity.
I found that often philosophies and spiritualities are interpreted to reflect the dominant ideologies of mastery, competition, and hierarchy. And these do not offer a radical and paradigmatic shift to a new and expansive Consciousness. I had to find my own expression and a feminine philosophy that honoured my Body-led experiences, and my love of sensation, beauty, movement, and flow, rather than the energies of austerity and stillness.
In my research I found that dance is the ritual of ancient Self-inquiry and the oldest expression of Feminine Wisdom across many ancient cultures. Feminine Wisdom is not the opposite of Masculine Wisdom, rather it is the nonlinear union of both polarities into a multi-dimensional Consciousness.
In this program I offer ritual dance as Self-inquiry, an ancient practice of allowing our innate and primordial wisdom to reveal, guide, and support us in our everyday lives. I accompany you in your Self-inquiry, dancing with you in the Caves of the archetypal Goddesses and Deities and supporting you to recognise revelation that emerges from your inquiry and not from Gurus and texts.
When we invoke the Deities together, we allow the emergence of your philosophy of life as an intimate, flowing, beauteous and co-creative expression between you and the Divine.
